We meet on the last Wednesday of the month at St Albans Church, Offerton and visitors are always welcome (a small donation for refreshments is requested) A visitor may attend two meetings before having to commit to joining on their third visit. If you would like to join please let us know and we will look forward to welcoming you as a member. As a member of Offerton Hatters WI you will enjoy the company of a friendly group of women from diverse backgrounds and of varying ages. Our members have a wide range of interests and it is likely you will find a group you would like to become involved in. Offerton Hatters is represented on the Pennine Group which consists of twelve WI groups in the area. The Pennine Group also arranges outings and events that you will be invited to. We are part of the Cheshire Federation that has its headquarters in Chester - The Cheshire Federation Newsletter keeps us up to date with what is going on across the county. We also have a link to their website - see links. As a member you can vote for the annual resolution which is decided on at the National AGM. You will receive eight copies of WI Life direct to your door throughout the year. which gives details of the National Federation's activities. The WI has been in existence since 1915 but is still relevant for today's women. A huge variety of courses are offered at Denman College and members may apply to various bursaries to help cover the costs. The WI has its own website and each member may have access to MOODLE. (The WI Training & Resource Site) See Links page. Offerton Hatters WI holds its own AGM in November. This is when the committee and President are voted in.
